Move over ChatGPT: The New AI Chatbot, CatGPT, is Internet's New Favourite

Updated: Jun 27, 2023

ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, has made waves globally since its release. ChatGPT, created by OpenAI, enables users to ask questions, hold conversations, instruct them to write something, and much more. Not only that, but the AI asks follow-up inquiries, admits errors, and learns from them. Because anyone can use this AI, people from all over the globe are sharing their experiences on social media. It can do almost anything, from generating business ideas on ChatGPT to passing a test.

While ChatGPT chatbot has made waves around the globe in recent months, a new artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot called CatGPT is gaining popularity on social media. This chatbot, as the name implies, is all about cats and is entirely built on a feline theme. While it may not be able to pass the bar exam or an AP biology exam, CatGPT will take any prompt.

CatGPT's website is intended to resemble ChatGPT's landing page.

According to the CatGPT website, the AI bot can "remember where the user buried all the treats" and "allow the user to act with good cat-tention to detail." The AI bot has also been taught to decline requests for walks and baths.

CatGPT resemblance to ChatGPT

CatGPT, like ChatGPT, has restrictions. It may create a toy mouse and furballs on occasion. After 2021, it has limited knowledge of the universe and cat videos.

Each response in CatGPT is accompanied by a GIF of a cat doing something like losing its balance, drinking water from a tap, or requesting belly rubs, among other things. Then there's a lengthy string of "meows."

There are also other CatGPT versions. Search for, another AI bot that gives a completely different type of response. "Me-ow! Hello there, meow! "How may I assist you today?" the chatbot asked in response to our greeting.
